There is no kite that offer better value for kite-surfing than made Power Kites. 1. The Power Kite is much less expensive than similar European and North American kites. The kite's maintain the highest quality as they are stitched in South Africa. Most other brands are stitched in China. The kites are made of 45 and 55 gram ripstop nylon, coated with silicon, one of the most durable fabrics for sun and wind in the world. A little heavier than other kites, but with a longer life-span. 2. The kite has excellent handling qualities. It is stable and luff-resistant so that it is suitable for beginners. For more experienced users, the power and turning efficiency of the airfoil allows it to powers upwind, offers huge jumps ( as the photos show) and is quick and easy to turn. It has much less bridling than most other foils so set-up is fast. 3. The kite has excellent water re-launching characteristics due to long sleeve valves and a 3rd line that allows the kite to be reversed off the water. This is essential for those first starting kite-surfing. The kite is practically 100 percent water relaunchable, 4. The kite is adjustable in angle of attack. In low winds, the angle of attack is increased to provide more pull at lower speeds. For higher winds, a low angle of attack reduces the lift. This gives the kite a very big wind window. 5. The kite has the simplest safety system. Simply let go off the control bar and the kite de-powers instantly. It can be landed safely solo and does not need another person to catch the kite.

The C-quad kites are neither soft kites nor framed kites but are of an entirely new hybrid arrangement using single skins with flexible f.r.p (fibre reinforced plastic) stiffeners. Developed to be suitable for re-launching from water (hence the single skin and minimal structure) for kitesailing and kitesurfing, C Quads have proven to be devastatingly competitive for other traction kite uses also (like winning national buggy titles within months of initial release). Their basic layout is "C" shaped with a small diameter fibre reinforced plastic (fibreglass or carbon) rod holding the curve of the "C" which is the leading edge and from one to 6 or more similar rods arranged as spines to provide some form to the skin and trailing edge. The C-quad is unique in its abilities and performance. With an extremely high lift to drag ratio, it is able to perform at an upwind angle not possible with any other form of power kite. This ability gives buggiers and surfers a much improved range of wind/terrain conditions that can be surfed. Gone are the days of waiting for a perfect on shore breeze to surf or buggy a piece of beach. Although a performance kite with improved power and abilities over other traction kites it is also a kite that can be flown an mastered by anyone wishing to own a power kite.
